1) We are collecting non-perishable food and clothing (in good condition, something someone would wear!) and putting on a Block Party at McMillan park in Lake Charles. We'll be giving away free food, clothing, and doing bible teaching. This will be an awesome opportunity to minister to our community in a tangible way. Event is setup on FB with all the details, or get with one of the leaders at Gathering.

2) Our Discipleship Tribes are growing and there are more and more opportunities for you to get plugged in. We have a new Women's Group that will be meeting again this Saturday (2/27). Please message Rachel Bourque for more information on this. We have a few other new ones that are kicking off in the next few weeks for the spring as well. We have groups for people in Recovery, Singles, College, Couples, and just people like you who want to grow closer to Jesus and make new friends. This is a great way to do it! 3) We are heading forward with our huge Easter Service. We will be gathering at the Lake Charles Civic Center to celebrate as one big family with everyone in one service. Come and bring people that are special to you, this will be a chance to celebrate his resurrection with all of our brothers and sisters.

4) Mark your calendars now, Water's Edge is planning a Marriage Conference on April 23/24 at the Bridge Event Center. We'll have more information as we get closer on the details. It will be a really special time for married couples and people who are heading towards marriage.
